The certification process includes application, audit, certification decision, and ongoing surveillance to ensure continuous compliance with the relevant standards.
CBI Certification may refuse to issue a certificate under the following circumstances:
If an incident during the audit leads to the results being declared invalid.
If the audited product or scope is no longer provided by the client.
Upon an official request from the client.
If the client organization is dissolved or no longer in operation.
A certificate may be suspended if:
The client fails to meet post-certification requirements.
Misuse of certification marks or misleading certification claims occurs.
Surveillance audits cannot be carried out within the agreed timeframe.
The client violates applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
CBI Certification may revoke a certificate when:
Suspension conditions are not resolved within the given timeframe.
There is a serious violation of certification rules.
Falsification or misuse of certification status is discovered.
A Reactivity Certificate may be issued to demonstrate the organization’s ability to quickly respond and implement corrective actions. This is typically considered during follow-up audits or surveillance activities.
Changes to the certification scope may include:
Extension – Adding new sites, services, or processes.
Amendment – Updating administrative or organizational details.
Limitation/Reduction – Narrowing the scope due to operational changes or nonconformities.
All modifications are subject to internal review and approval by CBI Certification.
